IDK what makes me sadder

The fact the Lakers didn't draft Matt Bouldin, or the fact I found out Jayden Jaymes has done aroun 105 movies

I'm at a daily low

Caracter isn't bad though =/

Greg mother <Censored>ing Monroe.
Very happy with the pick. So glad he fell to us.

Thanks CC, I feel even more assured having your approval lol.

I'm thrilled, I thought it was a great pick.

For me, as far as pro careers go, it's -

1. Monroe
2. Turner
3. Wes Johnson

People say I'm a harsh critic though.

Wow, you are extremely high on Monroe.
Do you have like a biased towards him, or legit think he will be that good?

No, I have no bias. He turned down Duke, and burned us in our game at the MCI Center last year. I just think he's going to be good. To be fair, I don't think ANYONE from this year's draft will make an all-star game. But I think Monroe is the best prospect out of them all.

Good to hear. I like hearing when people that hate the Pistons say we did something good haha. Now at least I know I'm not being biased.

But yeah, he is very talented. Warriors absolutely ###### themselves in the ass IMO. Udoh will be a fail compared to Monroe IMO.

Well we are at an exact opposite, cause I think Monroe is overrated and won't translate at all.

No, TYO, I don't. I think he has the best chance out of anyone in this class. But I think, especially in Philly, he won't develop into a star. They already have a go-to guy and IDK why they'd get rid of him at this point.

Haha, he looks pimp :p

I really like Greivis, I was hoping he'd fall to the 2nd round.
But I think our pick of Terrico White was solid. Don't know much about him, but he is a good shooter and can play both guard positions.

Yeah but he'd destroy teams one game and then have 8 turnovers the next. I don't think he'll pan out in the NBA. He's unathletic and doesn't play much D.

Pistons draft party was really cool though.

They set it up on the Palace floor. Had tables set up, looked real eloquent. Had free food and drinks. Blaha and Kesler were there talking and stuff with everyone. I got an autograph from Stuckey, Jerebko, and Kuester. As well as Nate Burleson from the Lions. Was cool to see how many people wanted Cousins and Monroe there. The arena was extremely happy when we picked Monroe though, and when the Warriors took Udoh. Was a really cool experience though.

True story:

When I was in High School at the end of my Sophomore year my basketball coach left to go coach his alma mater. Just so happens that his alma mater was in the same division as Gregs highschool Helen Cox. Our coach had to play him twice a year, and I attended one of the games.

When I watch Monroe play I see a very unique game. The first thing you see in his game, passing. How many bigs have the passing skills he has? Not many. The next thing I notice is the variety of offensive moves he has. He can face up and hit the shot, he is very impressive in the post, or he can face up and drive like a small forward. That leaves me to the next thing about his game, his handle for a big is incredible. He also has great footwork, which leads to great moves in the post and very good rebounding.

Personally, I believe Monroe > Cousins.
