We don't know how long the Red Sox will stick with the struggling David Ortiz, but ESPN points out that there will be no shortage of replacement options this summer.

Boston has been linked to San Diego's Adrian Gonzalez and to a lesser degree Milwaukee's Prince Fielder, but there could be cheaper options as well.

Depending on where their respective teams stand at midseason, Washington's Adam Dunn, Chicago's Derrek Lee, Detroit's Magglio Ordonez and Chicago's Paul Konerko could hit the market.

They have some nice hitting, defense and pretty good defense. I don;t see how that's 'not enough'.

Maybe Boston could go for Overbay too. He's got great defense and he could god for a cheaper price, too. He's off to a slow start, but he's been good lately.

Sounds like the Book of Orton is being thrown out and the Bible is being added to your collection.
The Book of Orton will never be thrown out. Tebow is a proud member of The M.O.O. aka The Ministry Of Orton lol. And it was too good to be true for Vasquez smh.

It would be too easy, and it's too early in the season.

Man if the Mets can win tonight, this would be a HUGE lift for our team and really get us going forward.

If today isn't proof that the AL is superior in every way to the NL, then I don't know what is. Vazquez was like 4th in Cy Young votes last year, and now he's the sixth best starter on our team.

Double play, bottom of the 5th now. Pelfrey not pitching his best, but he hasnt given up a run and thats all that matters.

[sarcasm]I'm completely shocked at the bottom two teams on the list.[/sarcasm]

The Rays are not legit people.
