Tonight... Should be interesting... Hopefully the Avs can pull out a win to force Game 7. San Jose seemed to finally show their talent and put the puck behind Anderson in Game 5. Shucks. Avs need to play their game, play Avalanche hockey that every team has had a little trouble with this whole year. They need to get shots on Nabokov as he isnt playing stellar. Sure he got a SO, but look at the shots, maybe 2 or 3 tough saves? There was only 19 of em.

Anywho... Lets hope for the best!

Mueller isn't playing tonight. He did skate yesterday and this morning.

Nah. I wanted the Avs to somewhat because of the story it'd be...but realistically, the Sharks aren't that weak

The Avs aren't ready to take on teams like the Sharks just yet. They just made it back into the playoffs and now they have a young nucleus. Give it some time

It may be me but Ovechkin's looked like a check and Hossa's looked like a push. I guess I must be wearing my anti-Ovechkin glasses.

Either way, Melrose is wrong, Nashville lost because they couldn't score with the four minutes of power play time they had in OT.
