They're gonna need to in order to prove to themselves that their season isn't over and they can contend when the postseason starts. I want them to contend, but with the way its looking right now, Tim Thomas has run out of luck lol

You know, you'd think that but I think things couldn't be better for Thomas now. I think the pressures of his contract and an unproven Tuukka Rask forced him to try and taken the burden on his shoulders to be a complete shutdown goalie. That's not Tim. He started to get nervous and, to compensate, he starts flopping around a bit more and giving up goals.

Now that Rask has emerged as more than capable of handling more playing time, Thomas can relax a bit. With relaxing, and giving some of the burden to Tuukka, he start playing more relaxed and you'll see a lot more of the Thomas you saw last year.

Switching to Easton's S19 while endorsing Bauer...he's not good

So the Pens/Caps game on Sunday received a 1.3 overnight rating for NBC...tied with the highest of the season and a 40% increase from last year's game...

I smell a fix

Damnit. Canucks are picking the wrong time to lose. I thought we were 2 points ahead of the Avs lol.

I was just waiting for the Canucks to go on their road trip, I knew they would start losing on this trip.

Pretty good day for me.

Preds, Wings, Flames and Canucks all lost.

All good things must come to an end.

Down 5-2 in the 3rd we score 3 goals including the final one to tie it up with 18 seconds left. Thinking the magic is still with us.

But then the Habs score with 7.5 seconds left in OT to snap the winning streak.

Hey at least we got a point :D

But really in order for us to even consider winning the Cup we need to do something about whoever is in net. We can only hope Varlamov comes back and performs like he did last season in the postseason. If we had the Varlamov of last postseason with our team this year...I think we could

I agree with you. Last season just might have been set

Golden Child has been Ovechkin for 3 years now STFU

Malkin can't even win MVP or Lester B. Pearson when he has a better season in all aspects (regular and post) than Ovechkin...SMFH

Avs down 3-1 in third period and then they score 2 goals to send it to OT. Durno with the Game tying goal. It was a SICK goal from a minor leaguer. Then the game went to OT and 9 seconds into OT Cumiskey stick handles past the Thrashers defense and then dekes Hedberg and scores!!!!

Most epic win I have EVER seen!

2 sick goals!!

"SCORES! Chris Stewart marching right into the front of the net like an uncontrollable freight train" - Mark Moser (Colorado Avalanche radio play-by-play commentator)

"Kyle Cumiskey, stick handling son of a gun!" - Mark Moser (Colorado Avalanche radio play-by-play commentator)

FIRST IN THE NORTHWEST DIVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
