Fantasy Draft: Which type of player do you pick first?

Say it's a fantasy draft and you are in the first round, which type of player do you go for?

I'd go for a young player, one that can lead the team, and be the franchise player you never trade because he's just that good, and has that leadership you need the franchise player to have. He would have to be consistent, if Shaq was in his prime and young, I would take him because he's won many championship rings because of his dominance.
