Nothing really went for the magic. They were unlucky and their big 3 didn't step up, and kobe, well he was kobe.

he just never got with the new wave
he's been doing it since like Magic's early years.
My dad used to know him and get into all those games.

anyways, what an awesome game. Kobe went crazy. you could just tell he was focused.

even in the press conference. some guy is trying to crack a joke and asked why do you do that thing, biting your bottom lip with your teeth.

btw, you know how whenever people bring up Kobe, or any shooter/scorer, they always say "yeah sure he got 30 points, but he took 30 shots". Now i understand when you score as many points as you take it isn't necessarily a good thing, but what if you hit 15/30. 50% shooting is awesome for anyone. kinda off topic, just want to see what you, or anyone here, thinks of this

If you shoot 50 percent i dont have a problem with it, But when somebody goes 7/29 for instance then yea ill have a problem.

i agree. i just think the volume shooter, take 30 to get 30 is overrated.

kobe took 34, got 40, and Lakers won by 25.
if you play D, it doesnt matter

Great game by the Lakers. Kobe went off and it looks like no one on the Magic can slow him down, and he didnt take a lot of free throws. Horrible shooting by the Magic tonight, the only way to stayin it is to shoot the ball real well. All the Lakers players had good games.

The Magic missed most of the shots they make most of the time, it wasn't all the Lakers D. And once it got to the 3rd they just tried to go 1 on 1.

Lakers only made 3 3's
we're gonna be making some more as well.
we didn't even play our best. Look at Ariza. he only had 3 points

go ahead and don't give the Lakers D credit, but it was no fluke.
Lakers have been playing better D since the Denver series. At what point is it not coincidental?

Magic need to make more shots. It was good defense by the Lakers, but Magic just flat-out missed just about everything. I`m suprised they managed to get 75 points with that terrible performance. Make their shots they usually do, and it will be more of a series.

Who else has a feeling the magic will come out on fire in game 2. I also think dwight will have a 20 20 game. But they will still lose.
