Dallas Fans Throwing Stuff

Kenyon Martin challenged fans in the stands during Monday night's Game 4 between the Nuggets and Mavericks.

Martin's mother, Lydia Moore, had been at the center of controversy after engaging in a war of words with Dallas owner Mark Cuban in the closing moments of Saturday night's Game 3.

During the exchange, Cuban reportedly called Martin a "thug" and a "punk."

Martin yelled obscenities at Dallas fans in the second quarter during a delay to determine whether or not a flagrant foul should be called on Antoine Wright.

Dallas hired six extra police officers to guard the Nuggets' bench during Game 4.

Martin's mother sat next to Carmelo Anthony's girlfriend "La La" Vazquez, who had something thrown at her late in the game.

Denver coach George Karl said after the game that the Dallas fans, "weren't classy."

Isn`t that just another great image for NBA? and Dallas fans in general, along with Denver players ways of handling things. It seems like fans are always urging to throw stuff at someone in any sport, and when they feel they have the "right" oppurtunity, they go for it. Some have more will power than that, but not in this case. I know I have had times where I have felt like throwing something at someone when i`m at games, but I dont, because I feel like staying for the entire game, since I payed money for it, I`d prefer not to leave early.

Although, these kind of things seem to happen a lot more often when it comes to the playoffs, so i`m not completely and utterly suprised. Although, a day after mothers day? It`s a good thing it wasn`t on Mothers Day, that would`ve been quite the dick move.

Dick move by the fans. My way of thinking is that you get in the players head if you wanna throw him off his game. Player's mom and girlfriends should be left out of it.
