Detroit reserve Will Bynum scored a franchise-record 26 points in the fourth quarter of the team's important win over Charlotte on Sunday night.

Bynum erased Joe Dumars, Isiah Thomas and Jerry Stackhouse, who had all scored 24 points in a quarter for the Pistons, from the record books.

"It's really not me," Bynum said as he deflected credit after the game. "It's my teammates and the coaching staff. I don't deserve all the credit. It's pretty much them, those guys out there setting the screens and the coaching staff believing in me."

Damn Pistons beat the 'Cats, but I'm still happy for Will.

points in a quarter dont mean anything. points in the whole game do
Carmelo scored more points in a quarter than MJ, Kobe, LeBron, Larry Bird, Kareem, etc.
is he better than them?

besides, Bynum has a 42-15 game this season. I doubt Will Bynum will ever do that in his career :p

He was on pace for 104 points if he played the way he did in the 4th the whole game :]

2 different positions. They can't be compared.
Neither have done anything special in their careers though.

Mexi I don't see how you can think we'll even remember Andrew Bynum... He hasn't done much in the NBA. He got a huge paycheck after playing about half a season of productive play. He has had devastating injuries to both of his legs, so who knows if he'll be the same.
