A newish concept I am going to bring to SI, is the Top 20 series, where based off of your votes, I will be counting down the Top 20 in different areas, this week, the Top 20 Dunkers in the NBA. The players that finish off the fast break, or can dominate down low in the paint. Anyone from the flashy dunks of a Vince Carter, to the power dunks of a Shaq, it doesn't matter.

Your task, is to send in a list of your top 10 dunkers in the NBA as of today. It doesn't matter how frequently they dunk, what matters is how good a dunker they are. Your #1 will receive 10 points, #2 will receive 9 points and so on. Wiht all the results culminating in a Top 20 Countdown (if there aren't enough for a top 20, then I will obviously have a Top 10 and a "Best of the Rest").

So get voting, I will only accept votes via PM. Make sure to go through every team and make sure you aren't missing anyone). Te aim of this is to spark some more conversation and debate amongst members. Have at it.

I have decided that after last weeks "test" run with the Point Guards, I am going to leave each topic open for six days, and then do the countdown on the seventh day.

By the way, this countdown this week is current players

Current players?
Do you plan on having one with old players too?

Maybe in the future. Just feel like having current players evens it out for those who don't know even about past players.

Four lists and already 21 players.

The Top 20 Point Guards Countdown had 21 lists with only 22 players. A lot more variation this time around.

Six lists. Only one player on all six, 4 players have appeared on five lists. Currently looking like it is going to be close the whole week.
