WoOoOoOo
No TMac or Yao in the game and the Rockets are still able to nurse their 10 point lead. This is what Artest brings to the table baby!!

Cavs win, 96-79. LeBron only had to play 27 minutes, which is good, he needs rest for the long season he will endure. He was one rebound and an assist away from a triple double with 22 points. Mo Williams pitched in with 17 points and 7 assists, Daniel Gibson had 25 points. Solid all around game for the Cavs. Also JJ Hickson got to play, he had a massive dunk early in the game and then got two blocks in garbage time in the 4th.

WTF? All he did was run into the Pile, LOL?
They'd probably only give you a tech for that, and that's it.

112-102 Houston :)

Ming with 30 and 13, Artest with 39 and 7, then TMac with 16 pts, 5 rbs, and 7 ast.
What a nice way to spoil the Mavs opener.

Houstons Big Three had 75 of the Rockets points. Dallas had a great game, they just had a bad fourth(a lonely 16 points). Dirk with 36 points(1 in the 4th), Terry with 15(2 in the 4th), and Howard with 28(2 in the 4th). Aaron Brooks also had 14 for the Rockets.

Also, did anyone see when they came back from halftime they said the score and it showed the cavs & boston??

OH yeah ... Artest looks good in Red...
now imagine if TMac and Battier were healthy.... you put Battier and Artest on their two best players, almost shut down.

and Aaron Brooks looked really good in the 4th. watch out West, once this team hits stride.. ouch

injury bug already for New Orleans?
Tyson didnt play tonight because of an ankle injury, and then Peja injures his ankle in the 4th quarter
i dont think either are that serious, but still.
yeah they're 2-0, but if these injuries keep happening, all you hornets lovers are gonna be disappointed

Peja is a F'ing stud.
He is one of the most underrated players in the NBA.
Hornets have a nice team, deff a top 5 seed in the West IF HEALTHY.

The Lakers want to beat the record for consecutive games without allowing the opposistion to hit 80. i think the record is 6 or something.

this is awesome. if the lakers continue to stress defense, which they have, then this could be one special year.
i dont want to be cocky or jump the gun, but this team is so focused, i think we have a shot at 72 o_O
PJ is stressing defense, HCA throughout the playoffs, and the players are buying in to it.

a little optimism never hurt right? lol
ok so it was a stupid comment. as long as we lock up HCA throughout, i'll be happy

Click to see my latest entry (only short, but yeah)

On a kinda unrelated note, I reckon my photoshopping of that Artest pic is epic.

We looked awesome last night, just the defense killed us. But I love what we saw out of our new offense <3. Plus all of our 3 big looked awesome last night. Just need to improve that bench. PLAY GERALD INSTEAD OF STACK CARLISLE. Stack is out of it, Green killed it in preseason and brings energy and quickness.
