he told me his dad had a heart attack today and was rushed to the hospital and about 10 mintues after he told me that he said this

I can't really say anything but, wow. This is the fourth dad I know (not personally, but in my school or on computer) that has died of a heart attack in the last week.

I can't even imagine what you are going through. I'd say I'm sorry, but as my mom says, I didn't do anything to him so it's not really worth a "sorry."

Just try to pull through it, everything happens for a reason and as hard as it is to think about this, you have to take this in stride and try to enjoy your life, for your dad's sake. Your dad wouldn't want you grieving over his death, so don't. Celebrate his life, don't mourn his death.
