Yeah I meant the last 3 wins. And if there is any QB knows the Pats offense as good as Brady, its Cassel. No other QB has been in the system in the last 4 years, besides Cassel and Brady.
It doesn't matter if he knows the system well, if he doesn't have the talent to carry it out. This isn't the Broncos running scheme here, this is being a NFL QB.

I wouldn't count the Pats out yet. Cassel's not all that bad. Throughout college and now in the NFL he has played and has had a chance to learn behind some real talented QB's: Palmer(they were roomies), Leinart (well collegiately he was one of the best), and for 4 years in the league, Tom Brady.

Cassel doesn't have to be anything great he just needs to manage the game which I think he can do. Despite the whole "spy gate" ish, Belichick is still a genius, and the Pats are still talented all around. They have a more than efficient running game(when they use it), talented recievers, and even without Samuel their defensive unit is still better than most other teams.

Also look at the schedule outside of their division, one of the easier ones in the NFL, they're facing the friggin AFC/NFC West, nothing special except for the Chargers, and maybe the Broncos. They're not surefire anymore, but they're still in contention for the AFC East crown.

THIS JUST IN: The Jets plus-Favre still can't beat the Patriots minus-Brady.

The Patriots are still going to win guys...maybe not the Super Bowl but they still own this division in my mind. The Pats are just going to win in less 'flashy' ways. Good defense, short passing game, on the ground.

Plus it was a game where they got to start on the opponents side of the field around 5 times because of <Censored>ty special teams and only won by 9? Did I mention that the opponent was forced to start at the 20 everytime and only scored 10 points because of a <Censored>ty replacement kicker and flags that kept them in 1st and 20's all day? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

If they played like like that against the Bills they would've been beat easily.

they might not make the playoffs, because their MVP is gone, they cant cheat any more, and they only beat the Jets (who refused to use Favre in Red Zone) by 9.

How many TD passes did Moss have...hell how many receptions did Moss have? Cassel didn't need to depend on Moss to beat the Jets; I'd say that's pretty respectable for a first start in 4+ years. They held "Favre and the Almighty Jets" to 10 points. But, no, that's no testament to the strong defense at all.

Also, again with the cheating thing...cuz that's the only reason they've been able to win ever right? That's also an excuse you use in almost EVERY post.

no not really only 2 posts.

YOu gotta chill out, im just saying all of a sudden everyone thought the Jets we're amazing once they acquired Favre, and in fact I just said that the Jets suck so why are you using that against me?

Face it, the Jets are not a good team, they only lost by 9, and Cassell didn't even do much in the start. He had less than 200 yards, sisng really complete that many passes, and where do you go off mentioning Moss? Everyone said Moss was a disaster and a train wreck until he got TOM BRADY.

The Patriots are not going to win the division, I'd put all my money on it.

Very relevant to the topic of this post...
It is, let me break it down.....

You are talking about how much the Patriots suck (after one game) and people should "get off their wiener".

So I am relating it to how you have this insane man crush on JJ Redick because he played for Duke. Yet. he hasn't done ANYTHING worth note in the NBA though, and you ride his wiener more than a woman on her honeymoon.

I'm sorry I didn't think we were talking about prolific shooters.

The Patriots are nothing without Brady, if today didn't prove it IDK what will.

They beat the Jets who are better than the Dolphins. If that shows nothing then IDK what will.

Also, we weren't talking about "prolific" shooters. We were talking about riding the wiener of crappy teams/players (though I don't think 1 game makes the Patriots sucky but w/e, it's your opinion). The Pats are not great without Brady, I know that and have never denied that. How's this though: Take Brady out of the Pats and they won't do well. But take your prolific (in college) shooter off the Magic and you get what....oh yeah, a playoff team.
