Just saying... sheed wants to come back...
Just saying I can't wait for V2.0Just saying... sheed wants to come back...
comp problems??? lol. Well like I said before I really don't like the team threads or even division threads, cause when that happens everyone is too lazy to go around to every division or team and look at all the news in every single thread, its a bad idea and gets bad results, the general discussion is so much better. We just need more posting in them.Well I am officially back, just thought I'd let ya know. Site definetly needs changes with like the gaming areas, needs more discussion in the sports. Not so sure about having trade centers and all that that stuff turns out to be pointless. But for sports we could have sub forums for different divisions like NFL would have
NFL
- NFC West
- NFC East
- NFC South
- NFC North
etc.
just stuff to better organize and so that members can go straight to a division to find specific topics.
Website is a big yes, and that would help out the writing.
I got my internet finally after many months fixed, although it ain't that great but I can write again. Also writing crew needs to be picked and toughly tried out, mostly because we need active members to get into that. Members could then post topics in sports discussions, find ways to advertise the site, write for other sites and might lead to our site being more well known. Also writers could have blogs that people viewing blogs could click link to come here.
Also daily posts on like: This Day in Sports History would benefit a website. Have nice pictures, post articles, etc.
Points system never works out. It's got really no point to it except for... well I don't know... it just seems useless and tends to lead to spamming etc.
Thats sounds good.idea I came up with is to only make individual team threads for those requested - for instance, there would probably be a Detroit Pistons thread...
and when we DID have the individual team threads, it actually got me, personally, to look at posts in team threads I normally wouldn't... I know I'm the abnorm, but maybe the need 3 members to request?
just a thought
When people come and only see some team thread looks stupid.idea I came up with is to only make individual team threads for those requested - for instance, there would probably be a Detroit Pistons thread...

Thats sounds better but how many g-mods etc are on this site? When people come and only see some team thread looks stupid.
What if like gmods and stuff could have their own forums and stuff where they can post stuff they want to in their forums?
Pointless idea... basically you're saying why don't the G-Mods have their own 'blog' threads in the forum..When people come and only see some team thread looks stupid.

That's exactly what I was thinking...Anyways, I like the idea of team threads. I think they should have their own sub-forum though because it always looks ugly when like 20 threads are pinned in a forum, and it would be a pain to have to sort through the whole NBA forum when I team thread drops a page or two back.
Basically, have a separate sub-forum for team threads, and make sure to have a request thread pinned or something.
Amen Brotha. That's exactly what I was thinking...
If we are gonna go through with the team threads, I just hope it doesn't take away from the overall number of topics in the league forum. Like if something big happens, I'd rather see it posted in say the NBA forum than in the Toronto Raptors forum. Team threads should be used for fans of the team to talk casually about the team, say if they are watching a game or want to propose a certain trade/move the team should make.
It would have to be alot more than 3, 3 people wanting a team thread won't make it active.idea I came up with is to only make individual team threads for those requested - for instance, there would probably be a Detroit Pistons thread...

I agree with this. That's exactly what I was thinking...
