The Anderson Varejao stalemate continues in Cleveland. But there might be a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

Varejao would be willing to accept a one-year deal worth the mid-level figure of $5 million, according to a source close to the free-agent forward.

"Andy wants to play," the source said. "If that's what it takes to get it done, he'll do it."

It has been widely reported that Varejao was seeking a deal along the lines of five years and $60 million.

That's why Varejao's willingness to sign for one year might be the break needed to get a compromise done

He's pretty damn greedy if he thinks he's worth 60Mill. For 5 years.

t1 whats enegry if you cant get good stats he should avarage 10&10 if not more with the amount of money he wants he has the size but needs to be come a better defender and work on his rebounding but i think he might be good but not million good and he does't deserve 5 mill more like 3 mil if you ask me . and good pick up for cavs 6&6 can do alot any game but he can play alot better if he wants to i bet pending on if hes in playing shape when he signs his contract.

Varaejo... he's a hustla, hustl-hustl-hustla. Yet he still sucks. I mean, Sasha Vujacic and Maurice Evans give 110% every time they're on the floor too but their contracts are just right. Varaejo's insane if he thinks he deserve's that much.
