Battle of the Boards is when a lot of boards sign up, and battle eachother. Their members register, get 20 posts, then vote for the forum they are from. The forums with the most votes move on. The last forum standing (winner) gets $50, free advertisment on the bottom of LGL for 1 month, and bragging rights.

Prizes:

• $50
• Advertisment on the bottom of LGL for 1 month
• Bragging rights

Rules:

• No cheating (using fake IP's). Don't even try, we have installed mods to catch you!
• Before voting, you MUST have a minimum of 20 posts.

Last time we entered a BOTB, the infamous melo decided to hack the board under the account I decided to use there and it ended up with me having to stay up all night trying to get <Censored> settled with them...

An obvious attempt to gain membership. I might not think of it as a scam as much if I do, had it be an All-Sports Forum...but just a Lakers Forum...now that I dont belive.

Good initiative...wrong idea though. Not a knock on the Lakers or your Forum but I wouldnt bother with 20 posts in a Basketball team Forum. The sport doesnt interest me enough to get show up for some contest & then get roped into staying & becoming an active Lakers Poster.
