This league is going to have a waiver wire. Any player that gets cut will be placed on the waiver wire. From there, you will have 24 hours to put in a claim on said player. The team highest up on the order who put in a claim will get the player. That team will then move to the bottom of the order.

If you claim a player on waivers, you assume responsibility for the rest of his salary. The team who waived the player becomes off the hook for said salary if the player is claimed. You must have enough salary cap room to claim the player. If the player goes unclaimed, he then becomes a free agent at 5:00 PM EST of that day (or the next day if the 24 hour period had expired after 5:00), and the first person to sign him gets him (unless in the offseason). Because the player went through waivers unclaimed, the team who cut him will still be responsible for all of the salary that was cut.

YOU CANNOT CLAIM A PLAYER THAT YOU JUST CUT ON WAIVERS. YOU ALSO CANNOT WAIVE A PLAYER AND THEN TRADE BACK FOR THEM IN THE SAME SEASON AT ANY POINT.

Waiver Order:

1. Philadelphia 76ers (tyfreak)
2. Charlotte Hornets (Big Bidness)
3. Atlanta Hawks ($tunna)
4. Chicago Bulls (bosoxlover12)
5. Oklahoma City Thunder (Father Pugzo)

The time at which players go on waivers will now be posted in individual release threads, so keep your eyes on those.

All claims will be made in that thread, publicly.

From now on, if you trade a player to another team that proceeds to cut him, you cannot claim that player.

Teams without cap space can now claim people on waivers as long as the claim does not put them over the hard cap.

Any team with the cap space to take the player has higher waiver priority than a team without cap space, unless the player is under a minimum contract.
No longer the case. You must have the cap room to sign the player.
